If man could have been made in more than one piece, he would have definitely had wheels rather than feet.

It is certain however, that nothing that works like a wheel has been discovered in nature. Man made it up entirely.

Fire is his greatest discovery; The wheel his greatest invention.

The benefits of the wheel without axles have intrigued engineers for 100 years. Successful vehicle manufacturers have explored various design configurations and arrangements.

Now in commercial production the wheel without an axle has a place in this fun new machine. It provides a low centre of gravity, efficient space management, strength and a distinct weight saving that has never been seen before.

Although the wheel is one of the fundamentals of this vehicle it is manouvered similar to a surf, snow or skate board. As such it is a great cross training tool for all your Extreme sports that can be utilised all year round in all types of weather.

The research and development of the G-Wheel has taken place over the past 20 years from the principal concept by Grant Taylor to the refinement by production design engineer Muzza Grant. This ensured that man’s greatest invention has been re-invented to what we see today with the G-Wheel. G-Wheel has been selected as the “2002 Best Inventions” feature from Queensland, Australia by Time Magazine (November 18), featured on CNN, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Livin Large, Planet X TV, Action Sports Retailer Show (San Diego), Super Show (Las Vegas) and Milan Motor Show (Sept, 2003).

Presenting from our imagination a stylish two-wheeler for your pleasure and convenience.

2007 G-WHEEL 49CC: Bridging the gap between a recreational toy and a high performance machine, G-Wheel 49cc is on the cutting edge of hub-less wheel technology with it¹s all new G-Wheel 49cc off-road recreational vehicle. It’s like a motorcycle for your feet, and is a new breed of off-road fun. G-Wheel 49cc offers a variety of innovative features. For starters, the G-Wheel 49cc ’sideways stance’ is similar to surfboards, skateboards and snowboards with the centre mounted high-performance 49 cc two stroke engine delivering a smooth surf-like ride and top speeds of over 40kph.The slender mid-engine chassis uses two large hub-less ten-inch off-road tyres which surround each foot making the rider’s feet the axis of the wheel. This unique feature makes the rider literally part of the machine, giving the rider an unparalleled level of stability and control. G-Wheel 49cc is constructed of lightweight high strength ABS plastic and alloys. Other innovations include a disc brake system, centrifugal clutch, C.D.I. electronic ignition, and large knobby tyres. The flexible twisting frame and hand controlled throttle and brake levers also add to the experience. G-Wheel 49cc is only a metre long, stands 30cm high, weighs only 22 kg, and can easily adapt for left or right foot forward riders. G-Wheel 49cc has a runtime of more than one hour and can support riders up to 120 kg. These features alone make the G-Wheel 49cc one of the most unique personal vehicles ever.

G-Wheel – The ultimate boarding/skating experience of the 21st century

What is G-Wheel?
G-Wheel: A motor and frame supported at each end by a spokeless wheel into which feet can be inserted while standing upright.
The G-Wheel has a 49cc 2 stroke engine which takes a mix of oil and gas just like a lawnmower or weed wacker. It holds around one liter of fuel and will give you a ride time of an hour and a half!
HOW does a G-Wheel work?
The learning curve of a G-Wheel is very similar to skate, snow or surf boarding. So, if you have any experience in one of these you will be surprised on how fast and easy you pick it up.

At speed you use body movement to steer and at low speed (and you can ride a G-Wheel at an extremely slow pace) you can angle the front wheel from side to side with your foot.
The speed is controlled by a cable type controller held in your hand, the more you squeeze, the more fun you have!
To stop, all you need to do is let off the throttle and squeeze the brake lever. The vehicle will slow quickly but smoothly, then/or you angle the toes of your rear foot toward the ground until the pads come into contact, the harder you push the faster you stop. The G-Wheel has been voted one of the best innovations of the year!
